Veolia Environmental Services is your source for experienced, commercial deep-sea divers who are trained and certified to provide marine construction, installation, inspection, maintenance and repair services in underwater locations.

OPA and OSHA-compliant Commercial Divers

Veolia commercial divers participate in on-going safety training. They are Oil Pollution Act (OPA) competent and Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) 40-hour trained to properly handle hazardous waste.

Veolia commercial divers are supported by the most advanced equipment available, including:

  • 1,000-foot rated, 10 and 12-person Saturation Dive (SAT) systems
  • Four ocean-going support vessels providing dive support, remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) support and multi-purpose support for marine projects—the Kingfisher, the Swordfish, the Viking Poseidon and the Normand Pacific
  • Work-class ROVs and Inspection-class ROVs
  • Potable Water Inspection
  • Intake and Outfall Cleaning
  • Traveling Water Screen Repair
  • Zebra Mussel Control (to identify and monitor infestations and restore water flow to intakes and outfalls)
  • Bridge Inspection
  • Salvage
  • Submarine Pipeline Repair
  • Sewer and Pipeline Cleaning
  • Video Inspection
  • Nuclear Diving (for power stations)
  • Underwater Inspection, including Level II, III, IV platform inspection; video and photography; Level I and II ultrasonics; Level I and II mag particle; grit blasting; site survey; rig move survey and non-destructive testing)
  • Burning Jobs (also in black water), such as offshore structural repair, pile repair, ship and barge repair, pipe repairs
