Veolia Environmental Services offers marine specialty services to support industry in the world’s oceans, the Great Lakes, and inland waterways. These are services that go beyond the routine to solve atypical challenges in marine environments—from emergency response and diesel fuel, hazmat or oil spill response (OSRO) and cleanup to lead paint removal or unexploded ordinance management.
Advanced Technology to Complete Hazardous Projects and Provide Emergency Response
Veolia combines the expertise of skilled managers and experienced commercial divers with state-of-the-art technology to answer the call in situations that require a fast response, such as natural disasters or chemical spills.
Veolia marine projects are supported by advanced technologies and equipment, including:
- 1,000-foot rated, 10 and 12-person Saturation Dive (SAT) systems
- Four ocean-going support vessels—the Kingfisher, the Swordfish, the Viking Poseidon and the Normand Pacific—providing dive support, remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) support and multi-purpose support for marine projects
- Work-class ROVs and Inspection-class ROVs
- Original equipment design and manufacturing capabilities to build or adapt equipment for unique tasks in marine environments
